Autumn Adventures: Meandering through Boston

We docked in Boston Harbor and took the subway to the Freedom Trail. The Freedom Trail is a 2.5-mile historic route that takes you through 16 significant sites from the American Revolution, including landmarks like the Massachusetts State House, Paul Revere's House, and the Old North Church.

We started at Boston Commons, visited about a third of the stops, and then headed straight to Faneuil Hall for something to eat. Along the way, I stopped to admire the beautiful, autumn-colored trees. Their vibrant hues were magical to me, a Southern California girl.

Once we arrived at Faneuil Hall, I made a beeline to a booth selling Chinese food to satisfy my craving. I ordered some orange chicken and chow mein and it was tasty.

After eating, we ventured toward the dock area to look at the water and more autumn trees. We were pretty tired so we headed back to the ship early. This was my third time in Boston and due to the limited time we were there, we didn't plan much.
