Minnesota, the final stop on our road trip from Ohio. This was just the beginning though. We picked up my brother and dad at the airport and drove up to the top of Minnesota to Voyageurs National Park, where we rented a house boat for a few days. We had no experience house boating but luckily they had me download a digital navigation system on my phone because there was little to no cell service where we were. Also, we assumed that we would just dock the house boat overnight but no, we had to park it on the shore of small islands and tie the house boat to large trees. It was a crazy experience. My brother had a few near death experiences which leads me to believe that we probably won't do a house boat again. On the plus side, it was insanely beautiful.
After we finished house boating we drove back down to the airport. On our way we stopped at an apple orchard which was super peaceful compared to the adventure we had on the house boat. Then we flew home, more exhausted then when we left on the trip. I needed a vacation after that vacation.
