During my road trip from Louisiana to South Carolina, we were passing through Alabama en route to Florida. However, our journey took an unexpected turn when I sought an alternative route to avoid anticipated traffic. Opting for a coastal drive seemed promising until we encountered a line of cars—this was due to the ferry service required to cross the water. Regrettably, there were no available ferries, which meant retracing our steps, resulting in a late-night arrival at our Florida hotel. Little did I know, a ferry option existed, a discovery made through this memorable detour. My tip is to look through all the directions when you're going from point A to point B, if you don't, you might end up on an island.
